One of the largest of the Balearic Islands, Majorca is one of the most popular destinations for all sorts of UK holidaymakers. It benefits from plenty from lush golden sandy beaches, delicious food it’s easy to see why people flock here. Families with small children as well as couple and groups of friends of all ages are all well catered for.

Alcudia

 Located in the north of Majorca Island, Alcudia is a popular family resort. Alcudia has one of the largest beaches on the Island stretching from the area of Playa de Muro to the main resort, its calm shallow waters are great for families with young children. In the cosmopolitan area of Port d’Alcudia you will find a stunningly beautiful marina along with a good selection of fine bars and restaurants that cater for every taste. Alcudia is approximately 45-60 minute journey from the airport.

Cala D’or

Cala D’or is the largest resort on the east coast of the Island, close to the purpose built family resort of Calas de Mallorca and its neighbouring Cala Millor is a much quieter resort. The resort benefits from an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as seven sandy bays as well as a marina. Cala D’or is approximately 45-60 minutes journey from the airport.

Magaluf

The official party capital of Majorca, Magaluf is a great choice for singles and couples looking for vibrant nightlife with some of the most amazing bars and nightclubs in the Mediterranean. It’s not all about the pubs and clubs through, Magaluf also has some great day time activities to keep the whole family entertained. There is also a variety of theme and water parks for those who are seeking a thrill. Magaluf is approximately 30-45 minutes from the local airport.

Palma Nova

Situated near to the lively resort of Magaluf, Palma Nova attracts singles, couples and families looking for a more laid back holiday. With three golden sandy beaches, the clear shallow waters are great for those who enjoy watersports. Each beach has a busy and bustling promenade, which offers a good selection of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and moods. Palma Nova is approximately 30-45 minutes from the airport.

Santa Ponsa

Santa Ponsa is a family friendly resort located in the south of the island and is just 20kms from the capital Palma. It’s very popular with Scottish and Irish holiday makers and there are a number of themed bars in destinationt to make you feel at right at home. Alongside the main beach, there is a smaller cove which is around a 15 minutes walk from the resort centre and is great for avoiding the bustling crowds. Santa Ponsa is approximately 30-45 minutes from the airport.
